Sewage from Toilets inside our Hospital is treated in our Sewage Treatment Plant and treated water is used for gardening and cleaning drainages.
Biomedical Waste - Segregated and collected in colour coded bins and handed over to CWTF
Paper Waste - Segregated in Pink colour Bin, stored in Garbage storage area (Bio Park) and handed over to "Clean Kerala" for Recycling. Wet paper waste are used for aerobic composting (Thumboormozhi) in our Bio park.
Plastic Waste - Segregated in Orange colour Bin, stored in Garbage storage area (Bio Park) in Garbage bags and handed over to "Clean Kerala" Company Ltd. for Recycling.
Daily Food Waste collected in Green Bucket and used in Bio Gas plant. Bio gas from the plant is used in Kitchen.
Liquid Waste is decontaminated with 2% Hypochlorite solution and drain to soakage pit.
E-Waste segregated and collected according to size and toxicity, stored in Bio park and Handed over to "Clean Kerala" Company Ltd for Recycling.
